Lake Park Baptist School offers several worthy opportunities for parents, friends and benefactors to express their financial support for the school, its growth and its future:

Annual charity auction: This gala event, which is entirely parent-driven, raised nearly $25,000 in 2010. Virtually all students and parents participate in creating the class gift baskets and class projects that are auctioned at the event. Parents also help in numerous other ways, through service on the many committees required to make such an enormous event a success. Over 300 people attended this year’s event, Splish Splash at the LPBS Bash at the North Palm Beach Country Club. 

Businesses can participate in many ways, including donations of merchandise and services to be auctioned. This year’s auction included trips, an air-conditioning system, massage and spa certificates, custom art and jewelry, medical visits, home improvement services and recreation items. Class projects included custom-painted Adirondack chairs and handmade quilts.

Fall fundraiser: Each year during the first week of school, students sell high-quality gift-wrap, candy and home goods from Innisbrook. This fall, students sold nearly $30,000 in merchandise.  Fully half that amount goes directly to the school.  As an incentive, top sellers (almost 100 students) selling $350 or more are rewarded with a trip to Fun Depot in West Palm Beach.

While this fundraiser is pinpointed to the fall, merchandise is available year-round at the Innisbrook web site, and the school reaps 50 percent profit from all sales. Please go to www.innisbrook.com, and enter school code 117834.

Box Tops For Education and Labels for Education: Parents and friends, please collect the UPC codes from participating General Mills and Campbells products. Each label or box top represents a credit of 10 cents for sporting goods and other school needs. Also, you may drop off used cellphones and ink cartridges at the school office as these items are redeemed for credit.
